Loving this – and your later post with the plate! I can’t wait to see what you do with fabric!! And had to laugh about your graphic design reference – I worked one summer in a print shop – in the darkroom. And running things through the wax machine for paste-up. Blue lines. Wow. Takes me back.

Love the project – so much so that i went to the Hambly site to check them out. Lots of cool designs and despite the priceyness I chalked it up to quality and coolness. Til I got to the shipping charges. Ouch. $8 for 4. I had to step aside. Maybe I will soon see them at my fav retail shops.

Wow, I had no idea such a thing existed! Looks like they’d have all the tactile appeal of those little rub-off prize card thingies. You know, where you scratch off the silver stuff with a coin?
