This is a quick post, with two purposes:
First, I want to say a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who’s taken the time to offer their insights on yesterday’s ebook post. You’ve given me so many new avenues to explore, and much great food for thought. And I’m deeply grateful.

Which brings me to the other reason for this post.
It occurs to me that a lot of us in the craft community are interested in self-publishing. And, as yesterday has proven, we have a huge amount of valuable information to offer each other.
So, I’m establishing an occasional post series on this here blog called Redefining Crafty Publishing. From time to time, I’ll post a question related to some aspect of indie publishing, and open the floor to your input.
My hope is that these discussions will help indie publishers offer better product, and give people who buy indie publishing a chance to tell those publishers what they really want.
I know there are some readers from the traditional publishing industry out there, and I hope you’ll dive into these conversations as well.
These are such exciting times!

Awesome. The publishing Borg! Assimilate me please.
Heh heh… :-)
I think it's time we have a wee publishing summit. I offer my living room. And I'm not even kidding.
This is a great idea. This is no less than a struggle for our heats and minds!!
(I've labeled all the stuff in the fridge that's mine, so that's not going to be a problem.)
Couldn't agree more with you on this. We really ARE in an interesting time for publishing. :-) Knowledge and learning is becoming more and more accessible.
Can't wait to read about this next blog post serie!
I am SO THERE.
Wow! Really?? I'd be game, too!
