While listening I was thinking about craftiness and environs and how where we live affects how (and when) we craft. We all hear about Portland as the hotbed of craft activity. I think it would be interesting to do a couple of shows on crafters influences. You know, do one where it's a popular, accessible crafting community like Portland, Brooklyn or Austin and then perhaps do another where crafting is more challenging due to the local climate. I'd love to hear about how others deal with the limitations in their environment, be it isolation, unresponsiveness (if crafting for the public) or availabililty of resources.
