I love your yearly mom/daughter podcast! :-) Yay!

There are so many interesting questions for your podcast, so far. Mmm... let me think!

Is there a craft that's new to her or that she just haven't touched yet? What's the thing she's been wanting to do for ages but haven't just done yet? (If any! lol.)

I think I should get some family members into blogging as well! ^-^

I'm still new to your mom's blog and I just linked here for the first time. You are two very creative women. My question: of all the types of crafts you do, what is your most favorite in terms of material used and enjoyment of doing the craft?
My "twenty-something daughter" and I craft every free moment we get but our tastes are different. We like to use different materials like: paper vs. yarn, beads vs. natural elements, as well as different methods of crafting. But in the end we love doing what makes us happy and accomplished.
Love your blog and love the smile your mom's blog always puts on my face!

Excellent question - thank you, Hanna!

...And I love that video - I have boxes of glass ball ornaments -
might just do something like this when I decorate for Christmas this
year. It's so pretty and soothing, how they sway in the air.

Aw, thanks, Dorothy! This is a great question for her. And you're so
sweet - thank you for the nice words about the photos. That will make
her happy. (And it does me!)

Yay, love the mom-shows!
Maybe to talk about the blogging experience being the "older generation" (but not looking it in the photo!) and how it affects her life. Can't imagine my mom, who also is very crafty, taking the time and energy to start blogging and keeping it up like that... What does her friends say about it - if they "get it"? And, do you both, talk lots of blog talk & gossip, now? I know I love to do that with friends who is also into this world and don't think you're a freak for using words like wordpress, plugins, linklove and podcasting.... :-)

Oh, sharing: A link for your Christmassy mom and you too if you haven't seen this, just thought these were so cute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVN5CriCv4s
Makes me long for Christmas!

Thank you for this opportunity, Diane! Before I ask my question I'd like to compliment you and your mother on the fabulous images we are all treated to when we visit both yours and your mother's blogs. The step-by-steps are some of the best around!

My question is, did your mom have any formal photography education or is she self-taught?

I'd like to know what your mom thinks about crafting with children (surprise, I know!) - specifically with your own children and what value it has brought to your relationship as adults. I know a lot of moms feel that they aren't crafty and so they don't share this with their children and I have found that crafting together actually ends up having very little to do with the end result. I'd like to know her thoughts, and yours, and hopefully it will inspire more parents to craft together with their children :)
