I’m not exactly sure how it happened, but this year’s Christmas zine is finished!
For the uninitiated, the Christmas Digest is a zine project K. and I make every year for family and friends. We wanted to create something more substantial than a holiday card, that people could enjoy throughout the season. (You can see previous years here and here.)
We fill it with crafts, recipes, and articles about the holidays or about things we’ve geeked out on lately. We do the whole thing ourselves, including folding and stapling.
(And, Locals, it’s printed by the best printer in town, Martin. We love him!)
Normally, we start this project around August and ship it Thanksgiving weekend, but 2009 was relentless in its crazy trajectory. So this year, we actually completed the whole thing in just four weeks – and in fact, we’re still madly folding and stapling!
(Oh, the gallons and gallons of coffee that fueled this bad-boy…)
We always make a few extra copies available online. So – here they are! If you’re interested, you can see the full table of contents at that link, too. (And get that free ebook of Knittn’ Kitten crafts. But I’ll blog about that later.)
Happy Holiday Season! And, Whew!
