Thanks for the review…been hearing a lot about the book. I agree more photos always helps! I wonder if there will be more books on various techniques like applique, but with a focus on hand-sewing. For all of us out there who don't have sewing machines for whatever reason… :P

Ooh, I like that most of the projects are made with an existing garment. Dressmaking is not my thing but I'd like to try my hand at some customisation (in my copious free time, ha!)

thats a really good idea to apply things to the rain coat, much more personal.looks like a good book to go through for ideas :)

I love your apple tote! Adorable! Also, I really like reverse-applique. Kayte's work is always great, so I look forward to seeing the book!
