Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

You didn’t think you were getting through this week without a plastic canvas post, did you?

Aw, yeah, it’s time for a little Holiday PC! Starting with this cool gingerbread house. Can you see that the railing on that second-floor balcony is made of lollipops? You need to see that detail.

Beautiful. I mean, no wonder that marauding horde of giant gingerbread mean is creeping up from behind to take it over.

Here’s another, not gingerbread, but fantastically detailed. It takes a lot of work and careful stitching to build a structure like this. I’m loving those silver icicles.

I may have shared this last year, but it’s one of my all-time favorites. A veritable citrus fantasy. And a sleigh!

I’m telling you, this is the medium for the 21st century.

What other craft material can multi-task like this? It holds your pens, your mail, and your glasses all at the same time!

And, it can be used to construct noses!

I’d like to develop some birdhouse ornaments, actually. This is cute. You could do all kinds of shapes and sizes, and add lots of embellishment.

…Did you still want me to make you a set of foot coasters for Christmas?
