Update: Congrats to Lind-E, the winner of this book!

Wowee, I had fun reading all your entries in yesterday’s giveaway! Let’s continue the theme, shall we?

Today’s entry in our Week of Giveaways is a twofer – both Cute Dogs and Cute Pups, by Chie Hayano. These are Japanese craft books, translated to English by Vertical, Inc.

Both books offer full patterns and diagrammed instructions to make tiny stuffed dogs – 28 different breeds, to be exact. And all of them are this stinkin’ cute. (Follow those links above for even more pictures.)

So, to enter this drawing, leave a comment here and answer this question:

What one thing would you like to learn more about in 2010?

I’ll draw a winner Sunday, January 3. International readers, you betcha. Good Luck, everyone!

  • I received an awesome tool for the holidays, a snap pliers to be precise. So this next year I want to grommet, snap, punch and embellish everything! I have avoided snaps for the simple reason that my snap pliers were never very effective. I don't have any experience with snaps or grommets, and this tool also does leather punch! So, now, with a handy tool, in pink no less, I will be extra snappy in the new year!

I want to learn how to push harder on myself to break through my fears in crafting....I realize failures are learning processes -and sometimes new delights can be found through them, but I tend to keep to my 'safe' crafting. So many crafts also have such connective threads that spill into each other, yet I hesitate!
