Interview with Me, Introductions to Bloggers

Recently, Imene was kind enough to feature me in one of her Blogviews interviews. You can read it over here. We had a nice, long chat about creativity and inspiration and other good things.

Imene was one of the students in my original Craft Blog Tune-Up online class. I love what she’s doing with her blog, A Journey to a Simple, Happy Life. She writes with charming honesty about her adventures in crafting, raising children, and keeping a home.

I thought you might like to meet the other students in that class. Each one of them has a unique approach to her blog, and it’s really cool to see them as a group.

Lauren writes (and shares gorgeous photographs) of her home-keeping and parenting experiences in Uppity Mama. (Go look at her Christmas quilt, please. It’s stunning.)

Hope’s blog, Long Legged Fly, joins her two passions of metal-smithing and science, along with her adventures making jewelry. I really need to show you the amazing Darwin cameo she sent me.

Melanie (who, by the way, is part of the team behind Spins & Needles), blogs at Spin Off Stuff. She offers up great craft tutorials, and really cool glimpses into crafty culture from her travels.

Emily writes about sewing, crafting, and her extremely cute little girl at The Pickled Weasel. If you have kiddos, try her awesome Wallpaper Flowers project.

Chris writes Prism Trail!, which chronicles her adventures in art and craft, along with her wicked-smart sense of humor. Her blogging always offers fun and food for thought.

And Donna is considering a new blog, but you crocheters should visit her existing one, Yarn Tomato. It’s home to, among other things, the best tutorial ever for making a magic adjustable ring.
