Ooh! I just noticed that this project I did for The Oregonian has just posted to their website.
Follow this link to the directions for making these dead-simple hanging paper hearts for V-Day. You can use up scraps of decorative paper, or pull pages from old magazines. (The Christmas issue of Martha Stewart Living served me well here.)
Enjoy!

super cute and looks fairly easy!
Thanks, Eilsa! It's so easy – a little cutting, one seam on the sewing
machine, and TA-DAAAA! :-)
Ooooohh! I love how theses looks like, Diane! :-) This is a great project you made. All 3D and everything, sweet!
Thank you so much for sharing with us!
those are so pretty! :D I really like those and i'm not a huge heart fan lol
Aw, thanks, Fanie!
Thanks so much! Yeah, for someone who's not a fan of V-Day, I sure
ended up making lots of themed crafts this year. :-)
Hmm, where'd I put the “you've got my heart on a string” puns?
Heh heh! :-) Not to mention, the “tugging on my heartstrings” ones!
This seems like a great project for today! I love the fact that my little boys can help too :)
These are beautiful Diane! They'd be great in an orb shape all year round. Love 'em.
Thanks, Lauren! OOh, that's true – and they'd be pretty cool as Easter
eggs, too!
