A blog is a big project, as is Twitter, and as is Facebook. You’ll need some focus time to get comfortable with each one. Trying to juggle all of them at once is really challenging – and can indeed feel overwhelming!

Hi Diane, I really liked your video. I am just starting out on all the things you do so well, like making videos, setting up blogs, Twitter and Facebook, printing my craft books, talking to craft companies, etc. The thing is I am 60 years old and this is quite overwhelming. I would love to get to know you better. I am glad I found your blog.

Oh I love this!! I think people will definitely “connect” better when they see the real you (by the way, I love the hair). I totally agree that the biggest reason I blog and peruse the internet is to connect to all the fabulous craftiness out there (and the gardening/health people)!
I have lots of homework to do, but since Sister Diane told me to go and make something, I'm going to go and make some pins that I've been wanting to make for my sister. My arm didn't need much twisting to craft instead of do homework!! ;)

I just recently found your website and podcasts and I love them. I think the video is fun and a great idea. I agree with you, there is something wrong with everything being perfect in blogland. Don't get me wrong, I like good photos- but it's almost too over the top and superficial.

Thank you! I'm suing iMovie, which is somewhat basic, but very easy to learn. Eventually, I'd love to graduate to Final Cut.
