We interrupt this long blogging hiatus to bring you three pieces of important news:
First, my friends, as of this morning, the book is turned in! Figh fives all around. Christina and I have worked really hard, and I wish you could see what we’ve created right freaking now. But of course, our baby still has a long road ahead.
The second piece of news is related – since I’ve had this deadline on the brain for weeks now, I thought the whole subject of creativity and deadlines would be a fun one to kick around on Google+ this week. Are deadlines good for your creativity, or hard on it? When faced with a creative deadline, do you work better by planning ahead, or waiting until the last minute? Feel free to pop over there and join the conversation!
…And lastly, a heads-up for the indie-publishing-minded: the next session of my online class, Write, Publish & Sell Your Crafty Ebook, begins on July 16. Follow the link for all the details and registration. I’d love to have you join us!
With that, I shall go back to apologizing to the cat for having been so inattentive to his needs over the past two weeks. I’m really in the doghouse right now! Heh.

YAY!!! Congrats! I believe a loooooooong nap is order now? :-)
That it was! :-) Thank you!
Does it feel like you just reached the top of a mountain?… I often wonder about that…
Congratulations Diane! You’re amazing, you know that?
:-) Thank you, my dear! I’ll feel more like I’ve reached the top once UPS has actually delivered the manuscript to my publisher. At the moment, it’s apparently lost. Sigh.
Did they find your manuscript?!
Yes! Finally, as of this morning, the beast is delivered. :-) Woo!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
