Crafting an Effective Blog Video: Brooke Siennes

Crafting an Effective Blog CoverTara and I are so excited to be launching the digital workbook version of our ever-popular online class, Crafting an Effective Blog!

…And we thought it would be fun to celebrate this launch by hosting three LIVE Google Hangout broadcasts. In each one, we’ll be working with a different crafty small business owner, looking at her blog and using the tools in our workbook to give these blogs better marketing oomph.

This video is with Brooke Siennes of Sincere Sheep. Brooke makes hand-dyed yarns, and has a lot to say about this craft and how it relates to fiber arts. Her biggest challenge is one that many creative small business owners share: creating regular time to blog. Through the workbook, Brooke discovered that she can use even one “blogging time” per week to build an editorial calendar that will more deeply interest her customers in the stories behind the yarns.
