I’m a big fan of Anna Hrachovec‘s knitted toy designs, even if I haven’t yet mastered the DPN. Her new book, Super-Scary Mochimochi: 20+ Cute and Creepy Creatures to Knit has the same cuteness and hilarity I always enjoy in her books, and her technical process photos are fantastic.
I’m especially in love with her customizable monster pattern, where you choose a body shape and various appendages to make your own scary little beast. (There are some samples pictured on the cover.)
…But, watch the video to see much more of what’s in the book!

Great interview, Diane! And just in time for Halloween (although my sweetie and I are geeks, so we like monsters year-round!) Thanks for making yet another interesting and fun book review video! Loving your series!
Really enjoyed this interview and the cute book! All the kooky creepies made me smile. :-)
Love the photos of these super cute monsters and to hear the ideas behind those projects! I think the idea of video review-interviews is super awesome and I hope it helps sell a load of books for the author!
I hope so, too! Thank you, Hanna – I’m so glad you’re enjoying this format.
