 I’m recovering today from the most amazing crafty weekend ever. Handmade Nation premiered in Portland, which created a great opportunity for a lot of crafty internet pals to come to town and play. I’ll write more about all this soon, but for today, wanted to share this wondrous fact: the necktie quilt I was coveting … Read On! There’s More!  I had such a grand day off with Susan and Pearl yesterday. Among many other fun things, we stopped in at Vintage Pink, and saw this oh-so-amzing necktie quilt. Oh, for the vast stores of time and neckties needed to make one of these! There are novelty ties scattered in among the stripes and solids, … Read On! There’s More!  Oooh, I’m developing a serious necktie-collecting problem. Can’t walk out of Goodwill without another handful. (And the women at the checkout always give me this cautious sidelong glance: “What’s her deal?” But the fabrics are so gorgeous! And there’s something about having just the little bit that covers the tie – limitation seems to breed … Read On! There’s More!  Hey everyone – I have a new tutorial over at CraftStylish. This one takes the leftover scraps from my Recycled Necktie Scarf and turns them into a Quilted Necktie Cuff. I’m happy with how it came out – very silky and pretty. Hope you like! Read On!
